I build accessible React components and occasionally sneak German language lessons or plug greyhound adoption into my side projects. 6+ years building things people actually use for companies in the social media, fin-tech, and marketing industries. Always building; always learning.
I'm a creative frontend developer who loves building interactive React apps that solve real problems, from teaching German to helping greyhounds find homes. I build with accessibility—why limit our audience? My 4.5 years working for Meta and Bank of America taught me that clean code, good documentation, and regression testing are your friends.
A developer is what I do, but not who I am.
When I am not passing props I can be found on a ballroom all sparkled up head to toe dancing anything from the tango to the cha cha to country western two-step. I volunteer with a local greyhound adoption group helping people find their next hound and getting hounds that are fresh off the track used to living in a house with cats.
Other things that keep me out of trouble (mostly) are walks in and around DFW, stabbing and hooking (or embroidery, knitting, and crocheting), and often returning to the keyboard to create apps and pure CSS images for my own entertainment.
